When you feel like shit, you don’t really feel like doing anything. How do you push yourself to get things done? I try my hardest to do so but I am guilty of staying in bed all day. It just feels like your mind is made of mush when you have no motivation. I’m finding that my biggest push is to do it for myself, but sometimes I’m just like fuck it. I guess each day something new needs to motivate some people. What motivates you?

  1. I self-loathe a lot too. And I do stay in my room (not in bed) all day for the majority of the week. But it doesn’t have to be that way all the time. I push myself by doing what I love like writing and music. But when I don’t have the motivations to do those stuff I thrive by “small victories” like exercising, having a haircut, buying something for myrself, reading a book, or just simply taking a bath. And then give yourself the permission to be lazy again. I hope you find something to do 🙂

  2. Yes, I find that having small victories make things much easier to do. It’s harder when I’m looking at a huge task compared to something a bit smaller which can still be accomplishing. Thanks!
